His Excellency, President Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama will undertake a three-day State Visit to the Republic of Namibia from the 25th-27th June 2012, at the invitation of His Excellency Hifikepunye Pohamba, President of the Republic of Namibia.
The purpose of the State Visit is to consolidate the excellent relations that Botswana and Namibia currently enjoy, as well as deepen and strengthen the existing bilateral cooperation between them. The Visit will also afford the two Heads of State an opportunity to deliberate on issues of mutual concern at the regional, continental and international levels.
His Excellency the President will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Honourable Phandu T.C Skelemani; the Minister of Transport and Communications, Honourable Nonofo E. Molefhi; the Minister of Agriculture, Honourable Christian De Graaff as well as Senior Government Officials.
His Excellency the President is expected back in Botswana on 27th June 2012.
