BOTSWANA HOSTS THE FIRST SESSION OF BOTSWANA/BRAZIL JOINT PERMANENT COMMISSION FOR COOPERATION

This two-day inter governmental meeting is aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Botswana and Brazil in a number of  sectors such as trade, cultural, scientific and technical cooperation, in order to promote the development of the two countries in accordance with JPCC Agreement signed in May 2009. 

The Botswana delegation will be led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Phandu T.C. Skelemani while the Brazilian delegation will be led by Vice Minister of Political Affairs for Africa and the Middle East of the Ministry of External Relations, Ambassador Piragibe Tarrago.
